While conditions can change, we continuously monitor the local situation and plan all journeys with care. Since August 2021, the overall security environment for travelers has remained stable, and visits have been conducted smoothly under current conditions.

Yes, most visitors require a visa to enter Afghanistan. While visas can be obtained from Afghan embassies or consulates in various countries, we recommend applying through the Afghanistan Consulate in Dubai, as it is generally the most convenient and efficient option for international travelers. We advise starting the visa process early, as processing times may vary. Our team can provide guidance and supporting documents if required.

Afghanistan visas are commonly issued at embassies and consulates in cities such as Dubai, Peshawar and Islamabad (Pakistan), Munich, The Hague, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and Prague. In addition, a visa on arrival may be available at the Tajikistan–Afghanistan border crossing at Sher Khan Bandar.
